It's been a bibbidi bobbidi boo Halloween over here. Do you know how hard it is to think of a theme that can accommodate this many girls? We made a new rule this year that every year we rotate which sister gets to be the "main" costume for our family theme. Sophia was Elsa last year so it was Lucy's turn to be in the spotlight. She has been asking to wear that Cinderella dress all week and was so happy when she finally got to put it on.
Our mothers helped with the rest of the costumes. We bought patterns to make the little stepsister dresses and another to make my Fairy Godmother cape. They were all a labor of love and I am so grateful I was able to find talented hands to do the work. I am no seamstress! We also had a Prince Charming (not featured) whose costume I made with help from my handy glue gun. The girls loved seeing their Dad as a handsome prince, shaved beard and all. We don't mess around for Halloween and it was nice taking pictures in our costumes ahead of time to avoid the rush of getting out the door for trick or treating. My costume was very suitable as I love making these girls dreams come true. Nothing better!

As much as I grumbled....I was very pleased with the lesson that I learned. You give so very much of your heart and soul to your family. Your photos and memories are sure treasures. Love you lots....Momma
