Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny found us this year and it was a great wake up Sunday morning. Days prior I was worried those little baskets might not get filled but apparently the easter bunny did a good job stocking up in the couple months leading up to easter. The girls were wildly excited. They started the morning finding robin's eggs all over the house, a tradition that took me right back to my childhood. They thought it was so amazing as they popped every second egg in their collecting cup. Their baskets didn't stand a chance once they got them on the living room floor. Isla watched curiously from the couch as the girls jaws dropped to the floor pulling each surprise out. The felt donuts and bath play dough were surely the biggest hits aside from the mini eggs. They were so appreciative and I was over the moon seeing their excitement. Although I miss being spoiled myself on holidays, there is nothing better than being a parent and seeing pure joy in your children. Those girls have got it good.
