A Good Week

 Hello from a happy place. It's been a long time coming but dare I say, it was a good week around here. It started the morning I woke up and my feet were no longer swollen and kept going when I put on a shirt and it fit loose again. To keep me from sounding too vain, things got even better when vital statistics told me they would help me get Isla's birth certificate faster and I was really over the moon when I booked our flights home to Washington. The end is really in sight for this long time apart and I am most grateful for that. It was also a good week for mail around here too, getting a few surprises from friends including some new floral headbands from the sweetest little shop. Fancy Free Finery just launched their Valentine's collection and sent the girls a couple of the new colors to try out. They are so beautiful and they've been wearing them non-stop. I especially love that Lucy can wear them as a headband but a few wraps of the nylon around Sophia's bun and her usually wild hair looks so much cuter. I'm telling you, this week has been nice to us. Our happy dance hasn't been this happy in a long time.
